Mathias to play Mylan Classic
Mathias will this week compete at the Mylan Classic on the Nationwide Tour.Last week he missed the cut on the Nationwide after struggling to make birdies.
"I played great golf tee to green. I hit 9 greens in a row on the back nine of friday, but shot only one under. I hope the putter gets red hot this week in Pennsylvania" Mathias said on Wednesday morning.
Mathias need a win to move close to the top-25 on the Nationwide.
"I have a few weeks off before I can play again on the PGA TOUR, but I want to keep going as I feel my game is good and I should be able to have a chance to win, if I can start making some putts" Mathias continued.

He turned pro in December 1990 after having completed an impressive amateur career. Mathias enrolled into a Swedish golf academy at age 15 and quickly gained a spot on the Swedish Junior National Team. In 1988 he won the Swedish Boys Championship. He won the prestigious British Youth Championship at Southerness in 1990. During the same year Mathias contributed to the Swedish victory of the Eisenhower Trophy.Read more about Mathias
